Cbeebies Land!

Hey guy’s today I’m going to share my experience at Cbeebies land, which is inside Alton Towers. So my nephew turned two years old the other week, so myself and my friend took my two and three year old nephew for a day out.

We started the day with a two hour drive, the boys did really well, with one little tummy ache but apart from that they stayed awake the whole way there. Then comes the gruelling walk from the car to the park, which with two little ones took about half an hour to walk.

Tickets: There was two adults and two children, the youngest was free and the cheapest way to do it was to pay for one child online and then pay for two adults on the day with a cadburys 2-4-1 offer.

We then went into the park, Cbeebies land is situated to the right of the lake. My three year old couldn’t contain his excitement and decided we were going to go on the Post Man Pat ride.

Post Man Pat: Its a cool little ride, you sit in Pat’s van and ride round although I didn’t realise that you were supposed to press the buttons as you went round. As you come to the end you stop right next to Post Man Pat, so be sure to take a selfie with him!

Next was the In The Night Garden boat ride, I’m not too sure who was more excited to find the characters.

Showtime! Make sure you check the times so your children can watch and meet their favourite characters. The boys really enjoyed watching Zingzillas. The showtime arena is near Nina’s science lab, be sure to check it out especially the smelling game!

Some rides have height restrictions, we were given a wristband for the oldest boy to say he was over 0.9m; but just watch when they put it on, as they put his on too tight and we ended up taking it off.

One activity was Justins Pie-o-matic factory. You will literally be pelted in all places with balls! Probably more fun for older, taller children as my little one couldn’t see over the balcony.

After we went on all the rides within Cbeebies land, we went for a walk and to get some food as we hadn’t quite realised it was so late. Obviously we had brought some snacks for the boys and they were quite happy. Prior to going I looked to see if there was any deals online and I found a voucher for two adult meals and two children’s meals for £18.50. Perfect, the food was great, the staff were lovely and the restaurant was clean. If you do use the voucher make sure you print it off before you go!

While walking around Alton Towers there were a few rides the oldest boy could go on and he loved the Pirate ship. Then we came across he aquarium, both boys really enjoyed it, we got to see a shark, a sting ray eating an apple, we found Nemo and Dory. We even had the opportunity to touch a starfish.

Before we knew it, it was 6pm and time to leave and ready for the half an hour walk back to the car and then the 2 hour drive home, although this time both boys slept most of the way home.

Before I finish this I have to share a few more cool things. Starting with the baby changing area, there are loads of them and they’re clean. They have buttons on the wall so you can change songs and while your little one is laying there they can look at the lights on the ceiling. The boys loved it and enjoyed picking their own music.

As you come into the park there is the option to hire a push chair, single or double which may be a better option if you’re worried about leaving your own pushchair while you go on rides. However we had no problems with leaving the one we took, just made sure we took our bags off.

One last thing, at the moment they’re doing a deal, come back tomorrow for £10 or come back any day for £15. Obviously we had to take advantage of this offer.

Overall it was a fantastic day, both adults and the boys enjoyed our time there and will go back again.
